vMix Pro Overview

Installation

1) Install vMix 26.0.0.45 from vmix26.45.exe
2) Overwrite all files from the Crack folder over the original ones (if you want, you can make backup copies of them first)
3) Write the following lines to the hosts file:
127.0.0.1 2645.vmix.com
127.0.0.1 vmixcloud.com
127.0.0.1 vmix.com
127.0.0.1 vmix.com.au
127.0.0.1 www.vmix.com
4) Launch and use the disinfected version of vMix

Solving Known Problems

• Problem: The software crashes upon startup or after a short time, or there are multi-colored screens instead of videos/titles/sequences
  Solution: Most likely this means that vMix has reached its native server. There are two options to limit it:
  1) add a firewall restriction to the remote address 34.125.147.72
  2) add vmix.com, 2645.vmix.com, vmixcloud.com to hosts (they are all behind the same address)
  Both methods should work. The first is convenient because you can access the site with a regular browser.
  The second is that the mix will not have access to the server, even if the system proxy is turned on.
  The problem itself can be corrected by returning the correct parameter in the registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Identity]"SSLSupport2"=dword:00000000You can delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Identity branch itself.
  You can also delete C:\ProgramData\vMix\status.txt
  These two items are optional. It is important that SSLSupport2 is equal to zero or absent.
  The contents of status.txt are not currently checked.
  Both parameters are signs that the positive local license check did not coincide with the check on the server and the server itself has enabled additional protection for vMix.
  
• Problem: vMix crashes with error: Common Language Runtime has detected an invalid program
  Solution: If you get a similar error (And this is not a vMix error, but a .NET stack error), then most likely you have a version difference between Windows itself and the .NET stack due to the “smart” update policy of your or your system administrators. In other words, you have stopped updating Windows itself and are sitting on something like 21H1, 21H2, but you continue to receive all other updates (including .Net) regularly. There are two options, or rather three:
  1) Update Windows to the newest build (currently it is 23H2)
  2) Reinstall Windows completely on one of the earlier builds – 21H* and prohibit any updates, as a class
  3) Prohibit incoming/outgoing connections for vMix at the firewall level (sort of a solution)
  
• Problem: Value of ‘0’ is not valid for ’emSize’. ’emSize’ should be greater than 0 and less than or equal to System.Single.MaxValue.
  Solution: Go to %AppData%\Local\StudioCoast_Pty_Ltd\ and delete the folder with your version of vMix, or all folders.

• Click on the Start button with the Windows logo and go to the list of all installed applications by clicking on “All applications”.
• Go to the “Accessories – Windows” folder.
• Find the Notepad application in the list.
• Right-click the Notepad application to bring up the context menu.
• Hover your mouse over the “Advanced” tab. A side menu will open.
• Click on “Run as administrator”.
• In the Notepad application that opens, click on “File” in the top menu, and then click on “Open” in the drop-down menu. Or you can press two keys on your keyboard: Ctrl + O.

Additional explanations about vMix Call and vMix Social
