Thea Render Overview

Thea Render is a high-quality physically based global illumination renderer. It is a unique renderer that can render using state-of-the-art techniques in biased, unbiased, and GPU-based photorealistic modes.

Thea Render Features

• Thea Presto is an advanced rendering engine that was written from scratch and optimized to run both GPUs (NVIDIA and AMD) and CPUs simultaneously, maximizing your computing power. The engine is tuned for fast, interactive rendering. This pushes GPU and CPU computing to the limit while maintaining the high photorealistic quality of Thea Render.
• In Thea Render we have created a small number of highly realistic materials using the most accurate physically based models. These models are designed to produce highly energy efficient material combinations.
• The physically based material system has features such as an advanced layer system and spectral color selection, which are the heart of the rendering engine. These features allow you to create realistic and convincing renders.

Thea Substance Converter v3.5.316.1970 is a tool that will allow you to convert Substance based materials to Thea Render materials.
