TeraCopy Overview

TeraCopy is the utility improves the process of copying files; according to the developer, it does this (copying) an order of magnitude faster due to the use of an additional buffer. In this case, the copying process can be paused and then resumed. There is also a copy control function; if it is impossible to read the file, you can try again; the utility is integrated into Explorer.

TeraCopy Features

• The main advantage of TeraCopy is that it actually copies data faster due to its multi-threaded algorithm. The program also allows you to avoid problems due to cancellation of the transfer in the middle of the process, when half of the files end up in one folder and half in another. If a file cannot be copied, the program tries several times, after which it skips the problematic file, rather than aborting the entire copying process, as Explorer does.
  
• TeraCopy provides a fairly detailed report that shows the entire progress of the operation. If necessary, it can be hidden, leaving a small window with two progress indicators (one showing the overall copy indicator, and the other showing the copying indicator of the current file). Another advantage of the TeraCopy program is the interactive copy list – files that could not be copied are marked with a corresponding icon, which allows the user to quickly identify and correct the error.
