Installation

1. Run the reFX Nexus v4.5.4 CE.exe file , specify the path to the Nexus Library folder and install.
2. Unzip the NKS.exe file and move the unziped NKS folder to the Nexus Library folder . It contains preset preview files and also some presets for NI Maschine & Komplete Kontrol .
The NexusFiles.exe file allows you to display all extensions and also the Samples folders related to them.
reFX – Nexus 4 Complete Install

Notes

If Nexus stopped working in between then follow these steps:

Solution 1:

1. Delete this version of your favorite rompler. Forget about it completely.
2. Install the updated version from October 15, 2023. reFX – Nexus 4 v4.5.13 Rev3
3. Specify the path to the libraries during installation.

Solution 2:

Uninstall the reFX Nexus first in Windows Setting – App – Installed Apps
Then Go to:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc select Properties of the “hosts” file and uncheck the Read-only box. Hit Apply
Copy that file to desktop, this is to prevent the file from deleting your added line
Open it with Notepad
Add this line:
0.0.0.0 web.refx.com
0.0.0.0 refx.com
0.0.0.0 outh.refx.com
Press Save or Ctrl + S. If the explorer box appeared, select All File and choose the “host” file you copied to Desktop
Then again copy the modified “hosts” file back to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. Hit continue
Reinstall reFX Nexus and you’ll be good to go
