Power Surfacing Overview

Power Surfacing is a revolutionary industrial design add-on that will revolutionize the way engineers and designers design parts in SolidWorks. Power Surfacing makes it easy and fun to design complex, aesthetically pleasing freeform surfaces in SOLIDWORKS. No longer will you have to try to fit a set of cut surfaces together to form complex curved shapes; manipulating parts in Power Surfacing is as easy as sculpting clay.

Power Surfacing Features

• The Power Shelling module allows you to create a thin-walled part of any thickness from any complex geometry when the built-in SolidWorks function cannot cope.
• The Power Surfacing RE (reverse engineering) module allows you to convert any third-party 3D model (for example, a 3D scan) into a solid model for subsequent editing.

Notes

Warning ! Make sure to Run as Administrator when you install Power Surfacing (also the first time you run SolidWorks after installing Power Surfacing). You should right click on the SolidWorks executable (SLDWorks.exe) and choose “Run as Administrator” from the drop down menu.

If all buttons are disabled , open any assembly and then return to the part.

Installation

Copy the file “LicenseInterface50.dll” from the “Crack…” archive to the installation directory and replace it.
The default path is C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS
