Adguard Overview

Adguard is an Internet filter for protecting users from dangerous websites, blocking all possible types of advertising on the Internet. The program is an excellent addition to your main antivirus protection with effective blocking of malicious, fraudulent and phishing resources, and parental control over the online activity of children. Web protection works with all web browsers, effectively blocking Internet threats due to daily updating of the program database using the largest resources Google Safe Browsing, Web of Trust (WOT) and Malwaredomains lists. Adguard belongs to the Adblock family of programs, whose main task is to control the quality of operation of web resources and the Internet as a whole. The work of the Adguard program consists of three main areas

• This is a malicious or fraudulent site: Adguard uses its own databases and blacklists, as well as data from partners. The developers work only with the largest companies and update the program databases daily using Google Safe Browsing, Web of Trust (WOT) lists and Malwaredomains.
• This is advertising: Adguard processes the web page before it is actually loaded in your browser, first removing all advertising elements from it, which greatly simplifies work on the Internet, speeds up the loading of sites and saves your nerves.
• These are unsafe, inappropriate resources and sites for adults: The Adguard Parental Control module checks the web pages that children visit and blocks them. Safe search controls everything your child searches for on all popular search engines – Yandex, Mail.ru, Google, Bing, Yahoo, Rambler. Password protection allows you to block attempts to bypass restrictions.

Installation
