Description

Tekla Structures Overview

Tekla Structures is a comprehensive solution that can significantly increase the productivity of designing industrial and civil buildings using various structural materials, such as steel structures, precast concrete products and monolithic concrete structures.

Tekla Structures Features

Tekla Structures is building information modeling (BIM) software that allows you to create and manage accurate, detailed, design-friendly 3D models from any material and any complexity. Tekla Structures models can be used throughout the construction process from sketching to production, installation and construction management.

Tekla Structures can be used with other existing applications or on its own as a platform for developing your own workflows. The open platform supports interoperability and standardization. Tekla Structures interfaces with various systems through the Tekla Open API through an application programming interface, which is implemented using Microsoft.NET technology. For example, Tekla Structures supports the following standard formats: IFC, CIS/2, SDNF and DSTV. Tekla Structures supports native formats such as DWG, DXF and DGN.

Tekla Structures configurations:
Tekla Structures, Full Detailing is a universal configuration containing modules for detailing metal structures, precast concrete products and cast-in-place concrete products. It is possible to create three-dimensional models of structures made of steel and concrete, as well as automatic generation of KM and KMD drawings.
Tekla Structures, Steel Detailing is a configuration designed for designing steel structures. The user can create detailed three-dimensional models of any metal structures and obtain relevant data for production and installation, used by all project participants.
Tekla Structures, Precast Concrete Detailing is a standard configuration enhanced with important precast concrete detailing features. The user can create detailed 3D models of concrete structures and obtain associated production and installation data, shared with all project participants.
Tekla Structures, Reinforced Concrete Detailing is a standard configuration enhanced with important features for detailing monolithic reinforced concrete elements. The user can create detailed 3D models of monolithic reinforced concrete products and obtain relevant production and installation data, shared with all project participants.
Tekla Structures, Engineering is a standard configuration that allows synchronized design. Structural steel designers and interior MEP engineers can collaborate within a shared model.

Installation

NO NLM (Not Network License)
1. Install the program.
2. Set Environments as desired.
3. Copy 2 .dll with replacement to the root folder of the installed program.
4. Launch the program, select the interface language. On the license error, click “cancel”
5. In the next dialog box, select a network license and enter your choice: hostname / 127.0.0.1 / localhost

NLM (Network License)
1. Install the program.
2. Set Environments as desired.
3. Copy the tekla_server folder to the root of the C:\
drive Go to the folder and run server_install.bat with administrator rights
4. Copy 2 .dlls (from the installation folder ) and replace them into the root folder of the installed program.
5. Launch the program, select the interface language. If there is a license error, click “cancel”
6. In the next dialog box, select a network license and enter: @localhost
