TDR Special Filters Bundle Overview

TDR Infrasonic v1.0.9:

The TDR Infrasonic targets the predominantly inaudible low-frequency areas of a mix.
This dedicated filter operates in both minimum and mixed phase modes, and features infinitely
variable filter tilt, dry mix capability, and a wide range of filter loss compensation methods: a dynamic filter mode and a set of harmonic generators help the operator creatively compensate for any unwanted energy losses associated with the filtering process.
The plug-in is an ideal choice when transferring material to a lower spectral bandwidth medium/media,
such as mastering discs, audio tapes, analog broadcasts or PA systems. The creative filter compensation capabilities also make it a valuable tool in all traditional recording, mixing, restoration and mastering applications .

The plugin features a modern, resizable user interface.
Its low-frequency spectrum analyzer provides exceptionally detailed examination of the lowest
mixing registers, down to DC.

TDR Elliptical v1.1.1:

TDR Elliptical specializes in controlling the width of stereo sound at low frequencies. Elliptical filters operate
on the stereo difference channel. They find important applications in disc mastering and in situations
where it is necessary to control the amount of location information in a mix.
Unlike traditional elliptical filters, this filter offers smooth slope control,
minimum and linear phase modes, and dry mix control. Compensation options
ranging from dynamic harmonic generation oscillations to “Haas delays” allow the operator
to creatively compensate for the subjective energy losses that occur when filtering
and/or summing stereo and mono signals.
The TDR Elliptical features a freely resizable user interface, including a frequency analyzer
that allows you to evaluate stereo differences in the lowest registers, down to DC.

Note
Elliptical filters should not be confused with the Elliptical filter specification.
The latter is also called Causer or Zolotarev-filter and describes the way to specify “Q” in higher order filters
(like Butterworth, Chebichev, Linkwitz-Riley or Bessel filters).
Elliptical filters allow ripple in the passband and stopband bands,
making them largely unsuitable for use in audio applications.

TDR Ultrasonic v1.0.2:

TDR Ultrasonic is a filter designed to control the accumulation of ultrasonic content in
oversampled recording, processing or playback chains. The idea is to prevent ultrasound from entering
nonlinear systems.
Examples of nonlinear systems include peak limiters, distortion devices, compressors
, and other forms of modulation. Analog recording devices such as tape recorders and disc cutting systems
also exhibit nonlinear behavior, as do all playback systems (albeit to a lesser extent).
The overall distortion produced by a nonlinear system increases with the bandwidth of the input signal.
This is true for both audible and inaudible content, and applies to the entire production process:
while a narrowband mono signal such as a guitar or vocal can handle
a huge amount of distortion masterfully, a wideband mix can sound disjointed at the slightest degree of saturation.
This is because nonlinearities lead not only to harmonic distortion, but also to intermodulation distortion, a
basically non-harmonic type of distortion. This form of distortion results in new frequency distortions
based on the sum and difference of the frequencies of the original frequency distortions. As a result, these new partial signals appear
outside and below the original frequencies, with the latter possibly falling within the audible range.
TDR Ultrasonic achieves the same effect but on a larger scale. This allows lossless reduction of
intermodulation distortion that would otherwise be caused by ultrasound exposure
to nonlinear devices.
The freely resizable user interface provides intuitive access
to all the traditional filter parameters and a host of exotic features such as a dynamic ultrasonic gate,
infinite Nyquist attenuation, and a handy “Bypass All” function for A/B testing
the impact of ultrasonic filters on all mixtures. A precise ultrasonic frequency analyzer provides a detailed
view of the ultrasonic spectrum and filtering in action.

TDR Arbiter v1.1.4:

TDR Arbiter is a frequency-dependent spectral balancer. This audio plugin, which operates independently
of absolute level, is the ideal solution for a wide range of typical
audio mixing, restoration and mastering tasks. Whether it is de-essing, dampening blast waves or correcting problems
with the overall frequency balance, the level-independent nature of the algorithm allows you to achieve musically convincing results
in the shortest possible time and maintain them throughout the entire mix.
Up to three ranges can be specified in the form of a bell, flat top, and traditional shelves. Arbiter supports
both positive (ascending) and negative (descending) control ranges, providing intuitive
control over the dynamic frequency balance of the signal. A set of harmonic generators allows creative compensation for any losses
introduced by filtering, expanding the generally transparent filtering process with a useful set of sonic alternatives.
The plugin features a modern, fully resizable, full-screen user interface.
The wideband spectrum analyzer provides insight into the instantaneous magnitude of the filter and how
