Pattern Maker Overview

Pattern Maker is a cross stitch program. The exact translation from English is “pattern maker”, which explains the main purpose of the product. The program is also adapted for machine embroidery.

Pattern Maker Features

The program’s advantage, which can be put in first place, is its user-friendly interface. It is intuitive even for those who do not know English. Seven basic stitches and 73 special ones are implemented. If this set is not enough, you can create your own type of stitch, give it a name and use it in the future.

The next important advantage is the ability to save patterns in a format that the embroidery machine can read. The following formats are available: PЕS, HUS, PCS, EMD, JЕF, SЕW, CSD, XXX, DST, ЕXP. The listed formats can store patterns made with seven basic stitches. If the resulting pattern is larger than the hoop size, which is also specified, the program will split it into several parts, each with its own name.

To create embroidery, it is suggested to use a palette of 240 colors, the ranges correspond to the thread manufacturers. The color range is edited at the request of the users. The largest size of the embroidery scheme is 999 crosses in both directions. You can create a new and edit an existing design with the mouse. In one saved document, you can combine several schemes, which is convenient for large embroidery sizes.

A new pattern can be invented by drawing it yourself, or created based on ready-made images. It is permissible to use vector and raster image formats. To create embroidery, there is a Master Assistant, following the instructions of which you can make portraits based on photographs. The program has the ability to apply inscriptions to a ready-made pattern, in the arsenal of users – 50 built-in fonts. If this set is not enough, you can create your own alphabet.
