Now, with a new HiDPI viewing interface, updated factory library,
new creative effects and internal audio enhancements, the next evolution is almost here.

Native Instruments Kontakt Features

• Tools : MIDI effects that work with all Kontakt instruments. The Chords section includes a large collection of chord progressions, allowing you to play them by pressing a single key. Similarly, the Phrases section allows you to play melodies by pressing a single key.
• Leap : Allows you to play loops and one-shots, comes with new effects and a streamlined interface for quickly customizing samples.
• Default View : The new default view of the sidebar lets you connect MIDI effects to instruments, mix different rack instruments, and quickly load and change presets for both effects and instruments.
• Piano Uno : Kontakt 8 comes with an easy-to-use piano library.
• Improved Wavetable module : allows phase and frequency modulation and significantly expands Kontakt’s synthesis capabilities.
• Komplete UI : A developer assistant for quickly creating the look and feel of high-resolution instruments that not only sound great, but look great, too.

Installation

1. Run and install Kontakt 8 8.4.0 Setup PC.exe
2. Run Kontakt 8.4.0 Patcher.exe
3. Click PATCH and patch the format you installed (VST3 or AAX)
4. Next, Patcher will ask to overwrite the NativeAccess.xml file , click “Yes”
5. Then click DONE
6. Enjoy!

How to add Libraries?

Adding libraries is done using Kontakt_Button.exe ,
located in C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKontakt 8

Note The Kontakt_Button.exe file may be recognized by your antivirus system as malware and deleted. To avoid this, add the Kontakt_Button.exe file and the C:Program FilesNative InstrumentsKontakt 8 folder to the exclusions in your antivirus , as well as in Microsoft Defender :

How to do this:
“Right-click the Start icon – Settings – Update & Security – Windows Security – Virus & threat protection
– Virus & threat protection settings – manage settings – Exclusions – add or remove exclusions”
