LuBan 3D Overview
LuBan 3D is an automatic generative design software that helps designers and manufacturers quickly create their creations.
LuBan automatically creates 3D models in various forms such as lithophane, stack, lattice, plate, relief, module and frame. The created model can later be manufactured using 3D printing, laser cutting or CNC milling.
LuBan 3D Features
One of the very powerful features of the program is Cutting large 3D models into parts and automatically creating fasteners between the parts. The program itself will create pins and holes for them on the cut planes according to pre-set parameters, such as the size of the pin or its shape. There are a large number of options for cutting models – Number of parts, cutting angle, type of plane, etc.
Also, when creating and generating other 3D forms, such as Lithophane or lattice, you can set any final shape, size or thickness of the part using a favorite photo or a basic picture in grayscale.
The program has an almost infinite number of options and settings for self-expression or fulfillment of a given requirement.
