CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra Overview

CyberLink PowerDVD is one of the most powerful software players currently that allows you to view DVD-Video and Video-CD on your computer. The main advantages of this player include high image quality, a user-friendly interface with the ability to change skins, and easy setup. In addition to watching movies from CDs (DVD and Video-CD), PowerDVD can play files in formats supported by Windows Media Player, as well as MPEG1 and MPEG2. The application also has functions for capturing frames into a BMP file, repeating a recording section, adjusting display parameters, remembering the moment you stopped, supporting the mouse scroll wheel and many other features. Using the Movie Collection function, you can create your own catalog of your movie collection, store reviews, personal notes, information about the film’s cover, and also share this data with other users using the MoovieLive service.

Installation:

A)

1. Open the command line (as administrator).
2. Type notepad C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and press Enter.
3. Add to the opened hosts file:

And save the changes

B) Install PowerDVD 23 (Do not run after installation is complete)

C) Run Reg.reg and agree to the changes.

D) Place the InitialLic.lcf file with replacement in

Haven’t installed it side by side with version 22, so not sure if it works with v22 installed side by side. Cleaned up v21 installation as well as leftovers before installing brand new version.
