Description
Blender LTS Overview
Blender is a free and open-source 3D creation package.
It supports the entire 3D pipeline – modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game asset creation.
Advanced users use Blender’s Python scripting API to customize the application and write specialized tools; these are often included in future Blender releases.
Blender is well suited for individuals and small studios, who benefit from its unified pipeline and flexible development process.
What is the difference between Blender and Blender LTS ?
LTS stands for Long-Term Support. The Blender LTS program aims to provide the ability to complete long-term projects using a stable version of Blender that will provide critical fixes for a 2-year period. The LTS version will not have any new features, API changes , or improvements compared to the regular version of Blender .
