New Features
Exceptional performance, Fairlight tools, and collaboration on a whole new level
DaVinci Resolve has hundreds of new tools for editing, grading, and now professional audio processing. Thanks to the modernized playback mechanism, the response time when editing video has been reduced several times. The application now has a separate page with Fairlight tools that allow you to record and mix sound, improve its quality and create a master version for one thousand channels in full 3D space. Additional filters are provided, such as automatic face recognition and tracking for quickly changing the tone of the skin, increasing brightness or color correction of individual elements. There are also folder locking and timeline alignment features, as well as chat so colorists and editors can work on the same project at the same time. All this makes DaVinci Resolve the most advanced system for post-production purposes.

Professional Editing
DaVinci Resolve has virtually every editing tool available for interactive, creative editing. The new engine delivers up to 10x faster performance, delivering instant playback and ultra-fast response even when working with resource-intensive formats like H.264 and RAW.

Color grading
In the production of feature films and television series, the DaVinci Resolve system is used more often than other software products. It has powerful primary and secondary color correction tools, curve processing, tracking and stabilization, noise reduction, grain effects and Resolve FX plugins.

Fairlight Audio Tools
In addition to video editing and color grading, DaVinci Resolve now allows you to perform high-precision audio processing. Mixing of up to one thousand channels and compatibility with Fairlight consoles, recording of material and support for ADR, editing of an audio track and adding sound effects are provided. Plus, you can mix multiple tracks into one file and create a master in a variety of formats, including 5.1, 7.1, and even 22.2!

Installation

After installation, run the patch.sh script in the _crack directory:

1. Launch Terminal in the _crack directory. To do this, right-click on the _crack folder in Finder and select “New Terminal at Folder Address” from the context menu.
2. Enter or copy the commandbash ./patch.shand press Enter.
3. When prompted for a password (the Password: line and the key symbol), enter the password of the current user with whom you are logged in.
4. If the script runs successfully, you will see the message “All files patched successfully” in the last line of the output.
5. The application is ready for use.

After updating to a new version (for example, from 19 or from beta version to the release of version 20, etc.), you must re-run the patch.sh script according to the instructions!

Use alongside previous versions of Resolve

• Installation is always done to the ‘ /Applications/DaVinci Resolve ‘ directory.
• If you want to keep the previous version of Resolve, you need to rename the ‘ /Applications/DaVinci Resolve ‘ directory before installing the new version (for example, in DaVinci Resolve 19 ).
• The project version will be updated when you open a project in a new version of Resolve, such a project will no longer open in previous versions.
• To create copies of projects in the old format, it is recommended to select all projects in the Project Manager window (Shift+1) and click Export. This must be done from the previous version of Resolve. Exporting old projects with the new version will save them in the new format.
